Twenty-nine intrepid Remsdaq staff and friends spent Saturday 19th June climbing up Wales's highest peak, Snowdon, to raise money for local charity, Claire House Children's Hospice.

It was both an exhilarating and exhausting challenge, raising £2000.

The weather was warm, with a cool breeze, ideal for the walkers as they ascended the Pyg Track.  The first leg of the walk was steep and quite challenging, but the determination of the walkers and the fact that they were raising money for such a worthy cause pushed them on.  It was a truly joyous moment reaching the peak and the lovely weather allowed glorious views of the North Wales coast and beyond.

Claire House Children's Hospice is based on the Wirral and looks after children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions in a home-from-home environment.  It has been Remsdaq's official charity since the start of 2010.  To date, Remsdaq has raised £3145 for them.
